William Sorrell

William H. Sorrell is the current attorney general of the state of Vermont, United States. Orginially appointed by Governor Howard Dean in 1997, he has won reëlection four times since then in 1998, 2000, 2002 and 2004. Sorrell was born and resides in Burlington, Vermont.
Prior to being appointed A.G., Sorrell served as Vermont’s Secretary of Administration.
Sorrell headed the National Association of Attorneys General in 2004/05.
