William Scott (artist)

William Scott (February 15, 1913 – December 28, 1989) was a British artist known for still life and abstract painting.
Born in Greenock, Scotland, he represented Britain at the Venice Biennale in 1958. Retrospective at the Tate Gallery 1972. Literature: Monaograph y Norbert Lynton published by Thames & Hudson.
