William Monson, 1st Viscount Oxenbridge

William John Monson, 1st Viscount Oxenbridge, 7th Baron Monson PC (February 18, 1829April 16, 1898) was the son of William Monson, 6th Baron Monson.

He married Hon. Maria Maude, daughter of Cornwallis Maude, 3rd Viscount Hawarden, on 7 August 1869. He served as Member of Parliament for Reigate from 1858 until his accession to the peerage in 1862. He died in 1898, aged 69 without issue and his viscountcy became extinct, but his barony passed to his brother, Debonnaire Monson.
