William Henry Trotter "Bucky" Bush (born July 14, 1938 in Greenwich, Connecticut) is the youngest son of Prescott Sheldon Bush, the younger brother of former President George H.W. Bush, and the uncle of current President George W. Bush.
He got a BA from Yale University in 1960. He was a fraternity brother in Psi Upsilon with John Negroponte, who served as Ambassador to Mexico under George H.W. Bush and as Ambassador to the United Nations, Ambassador to Iraq, and Director of National Intelligence under George W. Bush, and with Porter Goss, who served as Director of Central Intelligence under George W. Bush.[1]
Bush has worked in banking and venture capital, and sits on a number of corporate boards. In 1986 he founded Bush O'Donnell & Co., and remains the CEO of that firm. He has worked on the election campaigns of George, George H.W., and Jeb Bush, primarily as a fundraiser.
In 2005, reports emerged that Bush had garnered significant profits from the sale of Engineered Support Systems, a defense contractor working for the Pentagon in Iraq and Afghanistan. Further reports in 2006 corroborated these stock sales in the range of $1.9 million.
He resides in Saint Louis, Missouri, also the home of his late relative G. Herbert Walker.
