William G. Perry

William G. Perry, Jr. is a well-known educational psychologist whose work focuses on the development of individuals during the college years. Perry’s stages of development may be seen as either four or nine, depending on how many sub groups are included. The four stages are as follows:

- Early
- Late
- Relativism
- Contextual
- Pre-Commitment
- Commitment
- Commitment
- Challenges to commitment
