Sir William Thomas Denison, KCB (England May 3, 1804January 19, 1871, England) was Lieutenant Governor of Van Diemen's Land from 1847 to 1855 and Governor of New South Wales from 20 January 1855 to 22 January 1861.

The federal electoral Division of Denison and the Tasmanian Division of Denison are named for Denison.
