William Charles Chamberlain

William Charles Chamberlain (1818-1878) was an Admiral in the Royal Navy.

He was the eldest son of Henry Chamberlain, 1st baronet. He married Eliza Hall, daughter of the naval officer, traveller, and author Basil Hall. Their sons were Houston Stewart Chamberlain, the racist author and Basil Hall Chamberlain, a Japanologist.
