Willam Maxwell (General)

Willam Maxwell (1733 - Nov 4, 1796) was a Brigadier General in the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. He led the 2nd New Jersey Regiment and fought in the Battle of Newtown.
He is buried in Greenwich Township in New Jersey.
