Will Sterrett

Will Sterrett (born May 20, 1983 in Moberly, Missouri) is a radio news anchor for CNN, based in the network's headquarters in Atlanta. Sterrett has also been heard on radio networks and stations in Omaha, Kansas City, and Phoenix, among others. Sterrett has served in radio news departments since 1996.

Sterrett graduated in 2001 from Hickman High School in Columbia, Missouri. He briefly studied at Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg before persuing a full-time broadcasting career.

Will anchored Waitt Radio Networks' coverage of the War in Iraq and The Station fire in Rhode Island, both in 2003. After handling fewer assignments in 2004 and 2005, Sterrett again began covering a growing number of news assignments in summer 2006, including anchoring coverage of the Clinton, MO Elks Lodge collapse and the Seas Of David raid in Miami. It was also during this time that Sterrett became a morning news anchor at KLTQ radio in Omaha. In all his news assignments Sterrett has worked primarily as an editor and anchor, but also served a field reporter in the late 90's, covering news from Columbia, Missouri for KRES radio, based in nearby Moberly, Missouri.

Sterrett also has a strong music radio background, having served as program director of Waitt Radio Networks Oldies Plus format and an air talent on multiple music formats. He joined CNN in September 2006.
