Wildside (hiking trail)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Wildside is a hiking trail on Flores Island, British Columbia that connects the town of Ahousaht to several beaches and wild forests.
The trail is a First Nations women's eco-tourism initiative to secure steady jobs and income for the people of Ahousaht. Some 15 people, men, women and children, created it by manual labour in 1993.
