Wild Arms (also known as Wild Arms: Twilight Venom) is an animated Japanese television series, based on Media.Vision's best-selling video game franchise Wild Arms. The television series was produced by ADV Films, aired from 1999 to 2000, ran for 22 episodes, and 5 volumes of videos were released on VHS and DVD.

Dr. Kiel Aronnax, Mirabelle and Loretta encounter a ten year old boy during their escape from prison. He turns out to be the former famous gunslinger Sheyenne Rainstorm and is equipped with a famous and mysterious ARMS weapon.

During the episodes, Sheyenne and Kiel search for the mystery of Sheyennes missing body and continuously encounter Loretta and Mirabelle.

Sheyenne Rainstorm: A famous gunslinger with the ability to use the mysterious ARMS weapons. Reborn into the body of a 10-year old, he tries to understand what has happened. Voiced by: Mayumi Asano (Japanese), Brianne Siddall (English)

Dr. Kiel Aronnax: Scientist helping Sheyenne on his quest. Voiced by: Junpei Morita (Japanese), Jamieson Price (English)

Loretta Oratorio: A thief and sorceress, she spends her time with Mirabelle stealing from the rich. Voiced by: Fumiko Osaka (Japanese), Wendee Lee (English)

Mirabelle Graceland: One of a vampire-like race, the Crimson Nobles, she and Loretta make their living stealing and interracting with Sheyenne. Voiced by: JNariko Fujieda (Japanese), Julie Maddalena (English)

Jerusha: A 5000 year old Popepi Pipepo, she assists Loretta and Mirabelle during their travels. Voiced by: Rikako Aikawa (Japanese), Philece Sampler (English)

Issac: A 5000 year old Popepi Pipepo, he assists Sheyenne during his travels. Voiced by: Mitsuo Iwata (Japanese), Steven Blum (English)

In a later episode, Kiel and Sheyenne meet a famous sniper, Golgol 30. This is a tribute to a famous anime hitman Golgo 13
In the 15th episode, "Natural Born Angel," both Zed Wild Arms and Judecca Wild Arms 2, make an appearance. Another minor character named "Jett" makes an appearance in this episode; it is possible that the character Jet from Wild Arms 3 may have been based upon him as they have similar hair and weaponry.
In episode 16 "Fatal Goddess", Irving Valeria Wild Arms 2 makes an appearance.
Kanon, Wild Arms 2 appears in the 17th episode, "Child at Heart." It should be noted that Kanon appears physically differntly than she did in the game without the installment of the "Gacht" mechanical system in her body. Her personality is also not as serious as it is in the game.
Originally, there was three ending songs during the first Japanese TV broadcast. The very first one, "Universe" by triceratops, was originally used from episode 1 through 10. It was than removed and replaced by the second ending, "Hoshizora Jet" by Guitar Wolf, for unknown reasons. Ending 3, "Continuous" by Kaori Asou, was left intact on the DVD release.
