This is not the reason why he became a scapegoat. Rather his behavior was a little more serious than that of the other directors, making him a scapegoat for the whole group. He was not an actual collaborator however, unless we define most Dutch managers during the war as such (which is sometimes done). gidonb 16:37, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
