Wiktor Poliszczuk (born 10 October 1925 in Dubno near Rivne) is a Canadian politologist of Ukrainian descent, specialising in Ukrainian nationalism issues. Assistant professor (humanities)[dubious ], jurist, politologist; a member of Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada. He was deported to Siberia by the USSR authorities. He came back and settled in Poland after WWII. He graduated in law from the Wrocław University and made his doctoral thesis there.

In 1981 he moved to Toronto where he lives and carries out his research devoted mainly to anatomy of bolshevism, theory and practice of national rights in the USSR and theory and practice of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists - Ukrainian Insurgent Army activities.

In his works, he clearly separates the issue of UPA and the Ukrainian nation, stating that OUN was based on terror. He explores the sources of the OUN nationalism as based on Dmytro Dontsov theories. He maintains that "without studying the UPA security force methods one can not understand anything concerning the ethnic cleansings in Volyn (and Halychyna)" [citation needed]. He says it would be like "studying the Nazi system without explaining the SS or SA role" [citation needed]. Wiktor Poliszczuk gives full support to Vistula action[1].

Along with several other authors, Wiktor Poliszczuk is sometimes accused of playing freely with historical facts, appealing mostly to the reader's emotions[2].
