[edit] Template:Infobox Warhammer 40,000 Governments
I have a particular problem with this template. Although this would be good for races such as Tau and humans in general, it doesn't work well for other races. To name a "few", Eldar, Chaos, Tyranids, Orks, and Necrons.
Also, it deprives the entity of the other factions, e.g. Dark Eldar, Imperial Guard, Witch Hunters, Daemon Hunters, and Space Marines.
The Imperium, on the other hand, is it's own and covers too much ground and deserves the template.
As for anything else, what happened to my proposed guidelines? Listen, the last thing I want is any Wikiwars between both, so is there a way we can merge them? Shouldn't be too hard anyway. Colonel Marksman 16:42, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Appeal to players
I really don't agree with having this section on any article. Unless we're simply copying the 'Why collect . . .' paragraphs from 40K codices (which is pointless information - this encyclopaedia is not here to tell players which force to choose), then the whole section can only ever be WP:POV. I think it should definitely be taken off this guide and the existing sections on each army page removed. - Heavens To Betsy 15:02, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
- What does everyone else think about this? I'm more against it than ever after having read this bit of the Games Project's style guide. I know we're a different project, but I really agree with what they say there and, as a tabletop game, I think it would be good to work towards a little consistency with the bods over there. - Heavens To Betsy 19:51, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Progress
Seems slow, but is actually making progress. I like this new set-up very much. Colonel Marksman 07:00, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
