[edit] Articles that users plan on making

OK. Right here, users should list articles that they intend to make in the near future or are in the process of making. About a month ago, Chacor and I were working on separate articles for the same storm, which resulted in some wasted effort. I also just noticed that Cyclone1 and Storm05 were considering making an article for Tropical Storm Beryl (94) at the same time. To avoid any problems, please put here those you plan on making in the near future. If you stop your plans for making the article, state that so someone else could work on it. Hurricanehink (talk) 20:04, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

Let me clarify. These are only those you are strongly considering making, meaning it should only be one or two. Don't put every article you are considering. Hurricanehink (talk) 20:04, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
This isn't about secrets. People, it's only an encyclopedia on tropical cyclones. If you're going to make the article soon, list it please. Hurricanehink (talk) 17:40, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

Here's mine.

What about Marco 96? You were working on that yesterday. You should list articles you are in the process of making so no one else will duplicate them. Hurricanehink (talk) 13:34, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
I suppose this could be a good place for assessment. The biggest problem with Emmy is that there's very little info in the article, meaning either you'll have to find some more or give up. Hurricanehink (talk) 22:05, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
Wanda needs more storm history, first. Next, it needs more than the HKO source for impact. Try and google for some more. Hurricanehink (talk) 22:05, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
Just as a reminder-This Wanda article is part of my 1962 project.MitchazeniaBob Barker's Retiring... 22:44, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
...OK, but it still needs to be meet the standards of any other article. Hurricanehink (talk) 22:46, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

I'm currently working on Typhoon Songda (2004) (User:Chacor/Sandbox/Songda 0418) and the 1994 Pacific typhoon season, and plan to work a bit on Hurricane Ione soon. – Chacor 23:21, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

User:Chacor/Sandbox/Cimaron 0619. – Chacor 08:52, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
Cimaron on hold until information found/damage caused worthy of article. Meanwhile, User:Chacor/Sandbox/Chebi 0620, on the same conditions as above - if it fizzles out, then it won't be priority. – Chacor 12:32, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

Storm 05's plan:

  • Tropical Storm Dean (1995)-planning on it.
  • 1909 Velasco Hurricane-plan to finish this.
  • Hurricane Lili (1990)-planning on it.
  • 1909 Grand Isle Hurricane-Plan to work on this.
  • Hurricane Otis (2005)-plan to finish this once info is found.
  • Hurricane Debbie (1969)
  • Hurricane Bertha (1990)
  • Hurricane Gabrielle (1989)
  • Tropical Storm Hermine (1998)

What about Fern? You were working on that earlier. You should list articles you are in the process of making so no one else will duplicate them. Hurricanehink (talk) 13:34, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

Mine;

Here's mine:

  • Tropical Storm Beryl (2000)
  • Hurricane Florence (2000) RaNdOm26 17:47, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
I don't really have a list. I just make them when I feel about it, usually when I find a gold mine of information when doing a random search. Example: Hurricane Michael (2000) last night. There are a few I have been thinking about, but I have no timeline. CrazyC83 20:33, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

Mine in no partticular order:

For what it's worth, the typhoon article is dependent on there being enough info, although 50000-60000 deaths makes it deserving of an article- indeed it's the third-deadliest typhoon that I know of. Miss Madeline | Talk to Madeline 22:26, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
