[edit] Locations

Which ones are we able to identify and tie to scenes or episodes? Any idea what the angular brick building they use for exterior shots of NTAC HQ? Can someone (Buchanan-Hermit?) confirm for me that Image:Lifesciencesctr.jpg is HaspelCorp? Travisl 18:31, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

Buchanan has been looking for the NTAC building. lifesciencectr can be tied from scenes in ep 6. thanks/Fenton, Matthew Lexic Dark 52278 Alpha 771 18:42, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
I have a feeling the NTAC building is in South Vancouver; I remember finding a place like that once. And yes, Life Sciences Centre is HaspelCorp -- I go to school at that university and there is no doubt whatsoever (I've seen them filming on campus, there and at the Chan Centre). I'll try my best to seek out as many locations as possible. If you have one you're wondering about, feel free to leave a message on my talkpage and I'll try to find it for you. :) -→Buchanan-Hermit/?! 05:21, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Plaigrism

Hmm.. The 4400 wiki has copied two pages from wikipedia: [1] from List of The 4400 minor characters and List of The 4400 recurring characters - which they've now deleted. thanks/Fenton, Matthew Lexic Dark 52278 Alpha 771 10:45, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Episodes up for AfD

For anyone interested all the 4400 episodes have been AfD'd see: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The New and Improved Carl Morrissey (The 4400 episode). thanks/Fenton, Matthew Lexic Dark 52278 Alpha 771 09:06, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Project Directory

Hello. The WikiProject Council is currently in the process of developing a master directory of the existing WikiProjects to replace and update the existing Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Directory. These WikiProjects are of vital importance in helping wikipedia achieve its goal of becoming truly encyclopedic. Please review the following pages:

  • User:Badbilltucker/Culture Directory,
  • User:Badbilltucker/Culture Directory 2,
  • User:Badbilltucker/Philosophy and religion Directory,
  • User:Badbilltucker/Sports Directory,
  • User:Badbilltucker/Geographical Directory,
  • User:Badbilltucker/Geographical Directory/United States, (note: This page will be retitled to more accurately reflect its contents)
  • User:Badbilltucker/History and society directory, and
  • User:Badbilltucker/Science directory

and make any changes to the entries for your project that you see fit. There is also a directory of portals, at User:B2T2/Portal, listing all the existing portals. Feel free to add any of them to the portals or comments section of your entries in the directory. The three columns regarding assessment, peer review, and collaboration are included in the directory for both the use of the projects themselves and for that of others. Having such departments will allow a project to more quickly and easily identify its most important articles and its articles in greatest need of improvement. If you have not already done so, please consider whether your project would benefit from having departments which deal in these matters. It is my hope to have the existing directory replaced by the updated and corrected version of the directory above by November 1. Please feel free to make any changes you see fit to the entries for your project before then. If you should have any questions regarding this matter, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you. B2T2 22:00, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

Sorry if you tried to update it before, and the corrections were gone. I have now moved the new draft in the old directory pages, so the links should work better. My apologies for any confusion this may have caused you. B2T2 13:42, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] AfD and CfD.

The AfD result for The 4400 episodes ended today as a “Keep”, that is pretty good, to me it shows that people believe these pages can become well fleshed out and be good pages and it also shows that there is a good interest in them.. Which is good :-)

Also, the 4400 category so far looks like a unanimous keep. thanks/Fenton, Matthew Lexic Dark 52278 Alpha 771 15:08, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Request for comment - naming of episode articles

There is currently an active debate at Wikipedia talk:Naming conventions (television) about the naming of episode articles, such as when it is appropriate to use a suffix such as (<series name> episode), and whether or not WikiProjects should have the right to set guidelines for their particular shows. Any interested editors are invited to comment, at Wikipedia_talk:Naming conventions (television)#Request for comment. Thanks. --Elonka 09:01, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

Actually, that's not what's being debated. The issue is whether wikiprojects can set guidlines that contradict the global guidelines of wikipedia. There hasn't been a single argument that wikiprojects shouldn't have the right to make their own guidelines. --Milo H Minderbinder 14:35, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
