[edit] Ohio in the Civil War
I cleaned this up and greatly expanded the article. Scott Mingus 18:56, 8 June 2006 (UTC) (user originally from Zanesville, Ohio)
[edit] Alfred T. Goshorn
Only Friday I wrote the biography Alfred T. Goshorn and tagged it with biography and Ohio stubs. After adding a little more detail from one source today, I removed the stub tags, which are misleading at this stage. (Do you agree?)
Although Goshorn was a businessperson but that wikipedia category is a misfit; same for baseball executive. So I put him in Category:People from Cincinnati only. -P64 18:59, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Mr. Football Award
To commemorate the occasion of the 2006 winner being announced yesterday, I have created a new article for Mr. Football, as it is a major sports award in Ohio (akin to the state-level version of the Heisman Trophy. Since Ohio is such a football powerhouse, and since several of the award winners have articles of their own, it seemed appropriate. I am considering starting a new project dedicated to Ohio High School Football if there is not one already -- which there doesn't appear to be yet. Meanwhile, Mr. Football article needs some adding onto. I am looking for some eager football fans to lend some hands. Thanks -- and GO BUCKEYES! Ryecatcher773 04:41, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Library articles identified for deletion
I was just notified that the 20 or so library articles I've added as part of this project have been scheduled for deletion. I thought I was contributing to the project. Did I fail to mark these articles as part of the project, and did that make them subject to deletion?
I'm not going to add any more until this is resolved. CRKingston 08:56, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
