[edit] Poetries National and International
Proposed: February 6 2005 Putative due date: March 14 2005 (Eight Hours Day).
[edit] Update 14.3.2005
There is now a WikiReader Urdu Poetry. I would like to advise that this is a mock version, as I had problems with the read-only contents page, and I have not found all the authors, or edit histories. The book is 37 pages long, excluding the GFDL, and including the table of contents and index.
[edit] Milestones
February 6: Read through the (lesser-known) National Poetry articles Write introduction and prepare a PDF file from OpenOffice February 13: Select and focus on British Poetry February 20: Select and focus on French Poetry February 27: Select and focus on Irish Poetry March 6/13: Select and focus on Urdu and Japanese poetry (these last two might need two weeks, rather than one) Write up the credits and paste in the histories. Release the file. It may not come out until as late as April 25 or May 1.
[edit] Notes on the above
I will give three days wriggle-room and put sectional PDFs up for each week so we can see. I would appreciate much help with the selection. I will concentrate on poetries, not poets - at least until we know what we're doing! All edit histories will be pasted in separately to give credit to the authors. There will be selected graphics from the articles as this is very difficult to paste them in text-only.
