Guar are a fictional species featured in the computer game The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.
Guar are bipedal creatures that are dinosaur-like in appearance, with very rounded snouts and dome-shaped teeth for chewing Vvardenfell's hardy vegetation. Guar are herbivores, and the majority found in Vvardenfell are tame. However, blighted and diseased guar tend to become enraged, and many wild guar can simply become very territorial given certain conditions.
Domestic guar are raised by ranchers in the West Gash and the Ascadian Isles for their hides, which can be quite valuable. Other raise pack guar to carry their heavy goods.
Guar can be roaming about along the Bitter Coast, in the Ascadian Isles, and out in the Ashlands. The expansive Ashlands are most known for guar, as there is plenty of space out there among which they can roam and graze.
