Goals

Some of the goals of this Project are to improve the quality of Space exploration-related articles, as well as the Space exploration Portal, and to improve the organization of the Space exploration category.

Scope

The term "Space exploration" has several interpretations. NASA, for example, tends to refer to any manned mission as space exploration, or any spaceflight that leaves Earth's orbit. Though it is debatable that commercial spaceflight, such as space tourism, is to be considered space exploration.
