Some Wikipedians have formed a project to encourage and organise the use of sound on Wikipedia. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions and are intended as a central point for discussing sound on Wikipedia. 1. Ensure that all sound files on Wikipedia have copyright information, and delete any that are copyright violations.
2. Improve the instructions and guidelines for uploading and using sound.
3. Encourage the uploading of sounds on Wikipedia and at the Commons where appropriate.
4. Form a central point for discussing matters related to sound on the Wikipedia.
