Some Wikipedians have formed a project to better organize information in some of the articles related to the paranormal.

This page and its subpages contain their suggestions; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians. If you would like to help, please inquire on the talk page.

  1. Achieve, to the extent possible, a scholarly, generally agreed-upon, scientifically accurate, culturally accurate, and clear terminology to be used in paranormal-related articles.
  2. Edit selected articles concerning paranormal phenomena to achieve an accurate, verified, NPOV state.
  3. Expand Paranormal Stubs
  4. Fix the neutrality of disputed, high traffic articles
  5. Patrol frequently vandalized paranormal articles

The purpose of this project is to get articles on the subject out of protection, disputation, and tagged status and create excellent, encyclopedic articles which have broad consensus and may remain stable.

Project members are encouraged to peruse these at their leisure, as they serve as excellent examples of different writing and organizational styles that one may wish to emulate. Please note that the project does not necessarily claim any authorship or credit for creating these. While some were written by members—sometimes with extensive input from the project as a whole—others were created by uninvolved editors, or predate the existence of the project itself, and are listed here merely because they fall within our scope.
