WikiProject Mesoamerica welcomes all interested contributors, and there are no knowledge pre-requisites other than a willingness to help out. You may add your signature to the list below. Optionally, under the "Participants by speciality" section, you can also briefly describe any particular areas of interest or expertise you may have, or other ways in which you'd like to contribute.

[edit] Participants by speciality

• cjllw —particularly Maya archaeology, epigraphy, history and scholarship, but also pan-regional history and interrelations
• Matwat22 —I know a bit about the Taino and Columbus conflict (if that will help)
• Marskell—Would also like to improve coverage of the historic Maya civilization. Amateur interest but I'll do my best.
• Eluchil404 —Amateur knowledge of Maya history, language, and epigraphy. Am interested in standardizing the articles on Maya states and ajawob.
• Rawhead—Maya/Mesoamerican archaeology.
• Infrogmation Maya archaeology, iconography, history of exploration and research. (Note: since my home town of New Orleans experienced the worst disaster to hit a U.S. city in the last 99 & 1/2 years, I have been prioritizing my Wikimedia time towards those subjects. I remain very interested in Mesoamerican subjects, but the amount of my Wikipedia energy I'll be devoting to them for a while may vary.)
• Eric Shalov — Mexican geography, translation of Spanish articles into English
• Maunus 02:14, 21 July 2006 (UTC) Speciality in mesoamerican languages and linguistics. As well as general mesoamerican anthropology and ethnohistory.
• Akubra—Amateur interest in Maya history. I speak Spanish, so I'll try to translate things when I can
• Sdsouza 07:15, 31 August 2006 (UTC) — no specialized inclinications; amateur interest in the history of the American continents, will work on anything necessary.
• A R King — linguist specialising in grammatical description, teaching, minority/endangered languages and language recovery; language specialisations include Basque and Central America; have worked intensively on Nawat/Pipil, currently expanding into other languages of the area (not necessarily 'Mesoamerican')
