Any article related to this task force should be marked by adding parameters to the project banners at the top of its talk page:

• Korean-task-force=yes to {{WPMILHIST}} (see the instructions for more details on the exact syntax)
• wg=Milhist to {{korean}}

This will automatically place it into Category:Korean military history task force articles.

[edit] List of Korean War-era place names

When these are found in historical articles, they should not be changed to their current names / spellings. Instead, they should be explained where appropriate, and linked to the modern place names. Most Korean War-era place names are in McCune-Reischauer without diacritics, but some are entirely different.

• Chorwon = Cheorwon
• Chosin = Changjin
• Chosin Reservoir = Lake Changjin
• Fusen = Pujŏn

• Add geographical context to Korean War articles:

• identify locations relative to modern-day cities, towns, place names
• fix wikilinks of variant spellings and names used by UN forces
• add coordinates

• Translate Korean War articles from Korean wikipedia, esp. battles involving Korean rather than UN forces
• Add mention of military history items of interest to geographical location articles

• Clean up and organize articles on Korean military history.
• Add pictures to the following articles.

• Japanese invasions of Korea (1592-1598)
• Righteous army
• Goguryeo-Sui Wars
