WikiProject Horror is an attempt to build a comprehensive and detailed guide to horror on Wikipedia. This WikiProject also aims to normalize the standards for horror articles in Wikipedia.

It is designed to supplement (not to replace) the work done by WikiProject Films and WikiProject Novels, the two WikiProjects into which the majority of its articles also fit. If you would like to participate, you can simply start by editing any horror-related article, or join the project below and/or contribute to the discussion on the talk page.

You can also help to improve the horror collaboration of the month—a horror-related article selected by community concensus to be collaboratively improved over a month's time, ideally to elevate it to good or featured level status.

If you find, create, or contribute to a horror article, please paste {{HorrorWikiProject}} onto the article's talk page.

If you find a stub article that has not yet been marked as a stub, add {{horror-stub}} (or {{horror-film-stub}} if the article is film related) to the bottom of the article. It will automatically be included in the horror stubs category (or horror film stubs category), where you can find plenty of stub articles to expand if you need something to do.
