Wikipedia:WikiProject Dinosaurs/shortest articles

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Previously known as the Missing Dinosaurs List, this is a pruned version of List of dinosaurs that contains only those articles which are extremely short (sub-stubs). The goal is to have at at least a decent stub article for the dinosaur genera listed here, as descriptions and new species and genera are made available.

This list was originally compiled using Duesentrieb's CatScan Tool, a WikiMedia tool which compiles categories and sizes of articles within those categories.

This list can be updated regularly using popups.

Aims:

  • To have at at least a decent stub article for all of these dinosaurs, archosaurs, and other ancient reptiles, and a proper article for as many of them as current information allows. It should be fairly easy to get each article up to a fairly decent size (at least 1kb, the smallest an article can be before being included on the main page).
