Image protection

Greetings,

User:Pecher insists on marking the following two images for deletion, despite their PD status, which I have explained to him/her.

Image:Kalimi mashrutiat.JPG

Image:Kalimi iran.JPG

Would you please see to it that he/she does not delete the images? Pecher is currently engaged in an edit war with several users on the Persian Jews article.

Thank You.--Zereshk 15:54, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

Threats

Hi wikiacc,

This is the second time an anon user is threatening me: [1]

He uses different IP addresses. This is his second time (see the history of my user page for his attacks and death threats).

Thanx.--Zereshk 22:12, 7 May 2006 (UTC)

I've sent a warning to that IP address.
Additionally, I've tracked the address to Lebanon. Perhaps this has some connection to Arab-Iran hostilities? (Just an idea.) Wikiacc (?) 19:36, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

WikiProject U.S. Supreme Court cases

I have recently begun reviving the Supreme Court case project since the founder is inactive. You're welcome to drop on by and help us out if you are still interested. There's also a discussion going at the project's talk page. Enjoy your Memorial Day! Interesting info challenge. --Kchase02 (T) 06:36, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

My drawing was deleted

Wikiacc,

Someone has deleted my drawing Image:Anime by nima.jpg for some reason (I suspect for an alleged copyright infringement).

I have explained the pertinent details [2].

Is there a way to restore the drawing? Thanx.--Zereshk 22:02, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

Please Help

I am trying to move St Paul’s Cathedral, Dundee to St. Paul's Cathedral, Dundee, because I do not know how to replicate that character. However, when I try to do this I am told that the original name and destination are the same. But obviously not, otherwise St. Paul's Cathedral, Dundee would not be a dead link. Please help. Carolynparrishfan 14:23, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

Obviously, you did manage to replicate the ´ instead of the ', because I just moved it without any problems at all... —Nightstallion (?) 17:02, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
How did you do that? I had to copy and paste to reproduce that character. What is it anyway? Carolynparrishfan 17:41, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

Isn't there a WP:MOS rule on the use of apostrophes? (I'm not sure, as I've been inactive for several months.) Wikiacc (?) 21:23, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:G3logo.jpg)

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:G3logo.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. —Bkell (talk) 10:21, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
