[edit] Leaving Certificate

I have left a question at Talk:Leaving Certificate regarding your edit on the Irish language. Djegan 20:52, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Pro-EU template

See Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion#Templates.--Sean Black (talk) 20:34, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

I only wanted to know out of curiosity why the template was deleted. Is the European Union in some way offensive to some users? I understand you are busy.

As it says at the link I gave you, templates which are "divisive and inflammatory" may be deleted by any administrator at any time. If you wish to contest my deletion of this template, please use deletion review. Thank you.--Sean Black (talk) 20:28, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Regarding your edits to British Isles:

Please be careful not to remove content from Wikipedia without a valid reason, which you should specify in the edit summary or on the article's talk page. Thank you.

I did not remove any information from that article. I would have used the edit summary box but it was a very minor edit.
Sometimes a bug causes you to change things other than what you intended, Here is the change you made link. Prodego talk 01:35, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
I don't know how I managed to delete that whole chunk of text. Thanks for pointing it out :)
No problem. Happy editing! Prodego talk 01:40, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Irish related articles

I have reverted your change to Maam Cross. Please consult Wikipedia:Manual of Style (Ireland-related articles) regarding renaming of Gaeltacht locales. These guidelines have been accepted as general consensus among authors of Ireland-related articles. Bastiqueparlervoir 12:35, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

I have also noted you have been moving pages of Gaeltacht towns to their official Irish name. Please do not do this. The English name for most of these locales is still the common and most used name, whether or not Ireland recognizes an official English name. These are guidelines that have been established for some time. Bastiqueparlervoir 12:44, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
