Hi,
I live in the UK. I've got a fairly wide range of interests, but generally I concentrate on history (particularly Anglo-Saxon, British Empire and military history as well as the British honours system). I am fairly proficient at proof reading.
Pet hates:
- That articles on real things seem to get less attention than those on fictional things;
- Revisionist history;
- People quoting Google statistics to substantiate arguments;
- People treating internet sources as gospel;
- The term "English English".
Articles I have started:
- Arctic Convoys of World War II (kinda)
- Aircraft Carriers in Fiction (I had to alright - it was messing up the main article!)
- HMS Hermes (1913) (Stub to fill link)
- HMS Ark Royal (1914) (Stub to fill link)
- Mareth Line (Stub to fill link)
- NausicaƤ of the Valley of the Wind (manga) (I didn't start the article per se, but I appear to have written about 95% of it!)
Articles I have significantly rewritten/reorganised:
