[edit] Endorsement?

The template, when appears in an autobiography, reads like an endorsement of the article: that the person is indeed notable and " the subject of such articles do not have any improper influence over their content", which may not be true. Shouldn't this be a disclaimer instead: "Wikipedia does NOT guarantee that the subject of such articles did not have any improper influence over their content "? --Vsion 22:51, 11 March 2006 (UTC)

Yes, that's probably a good idea. I've added an extra bit on the end. Nippoo 10:56, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Get to the point

Why does this template exist? Does it attempt to highlight a specific problem? There is also {{Notable Wikipedian}}. This template is only used on 16 talk pages, has no associated category and it says a lot of words to, in a very philosophical way it says "misleading information may always be present". Ah, such is the nautre of Wikipedia! Is it trying to suggest "Try not to let that bother you?" Really, if this template does not assert something specific about the articles it is on the talk pages of, let us discard it. Please let's avoid these "I have a little speech to give" templates. -- 75.24.105.205 00:17, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
