[edit] Trivia

  • Although the movie is called Wicker Park, the park scenes are not actually filmed in Wicker Park in Chicago. They are filmed in Quebec City.
  • Paul Walker was set to star in the film but pulled out due to filming conflicts with 2 Fast 2 Furious.
  • The soundtrack features well-known and up-and-coming bands from the indie scene and is available via Lakeshore Records.
  • Cliff Martinez wrote the film's score. It is more melodic than his work for Solaris, although holds to a minimalistic style.
  • Both Diane Kruger and Rose Byrne starred in another 2004 film together, Troy (film).
  • The restaurant, where Matthew overhears Lisa talking on the telephone, is called "Bellucci". Monica Bellucci was the female lead in the French original Appartement, L' (1996), of which this film is a remake.
