WICU-TV is the NBC affiliate based in Erie, Pennsylvania. It is currently owned by the Montecito Broadcast Group. Its transmitter is located in Greene Township, Erie County.
The station's signal covers Erie; Warren and Crawford counties. It also reaches Jamestown, New York; Ashtabula, Ohio; parts of southern Ontario and south to Clarion, Pennsylvania.
WICU is also seen in the London, Ontario area on Rogers Cable channel 61.
The station is located at 3514 State St. in Erie.
WICU also operates the cable-only WB station, WBEP and has a local marketing agreement with CBS affiliate WSEE-TV.
WICU-TV is housed in the first building in the United States specifically constructed to house a TV station. The building was completed in January 1949 and the station signed on Tuesday March 15, 1949.
WICU is the first Channel 12 to be licensed in the USA.
