"Why Don't We Fall in Love" is the first single from Amerie's debut album All I Have. The song was written and produced by Rich Harrison and contains a sample of Dave Grusin's "I've Got You Where I Want You". It was released to radio in early summer of 2002 in the U.S., where it peaked at number twenty-three. It also became a top ten hit on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs.
