The station broadcasts on 88.1 with .4kw and is owned by Superior Communications (aka Michigan Community Radio and Northland Community Broadcasters) which is owned by Jennifer and Edward Czelada.

[edit] Repeaters
WHYT has two repeater stations in Flint and the Thumb area which share the same local inserts.
WTAC, owned by Superior Communications, began broadcasting in 2002 on 89.7 with 1kw. Officially licensed to Burton, Michigan, the station's transmitter is located in the Beecher area on the northside of Flint, Michigan.
WCZE is technically a commercial station owned by Jennifer and Edward Czelada on 103.7. It began broadcasting in April of 2005 from a transmitter at Bad Axe, Michigan. The station is licensed to Harbor Beach, Michigan. With a 43 kw signal it covers the thumb area of Michigan. During 2006 complaints were filed with the FCC that the station wasn't providing a strong enough signal to Harbor Beach. The station disputed the claim, but also offered to slightly increase power to 47kw.
[edit] Call Letters
The WHYT call letters were used for many years by 96.3 Detroit (now WDVD). The call letters WTAC were used by am 600 in Flint when it was a popular top 40 station during the 1960's and 1970's. WCZE is based on the first three letters of the owners last name.
