From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Whomp 'Em is a video game that was released on the NES in March of 1991.

It's a typical action 1 player platform game now classed as a retro game.

One of the noticeable aspects of the gameplay is that after you complete the first stage you can play the rest of the 6 in any order. These 6 stages represents the elements i.e. fire and water. After each stage you gain a new weapon much like the Mega Man Classic series, which was extremely popular at the time.

The game is notable for being one of the few video games to feature a Native American protagonist.

This game was the American version of a Japanese game called Saiyuuki World 2. The original game was based on Journey to the West.
