Who Let In The Rain is a single by Cyndi Lauper released in 1993.
[edit] Song Information
The single was the first off of the Hat Full of Stars album. It was a ballad popular among Lauper's fans. Some of the fans thought a dance song like "That's What I Think" would've been a better lead single for the album that failed to be a big hit on the charts and in sales. Outside the states it was a modest hit peaking the top 40 in a couple countries.
It's release featured a B-side called "Cold". A up-beat track from the Hat Full of Stars sessions.
Junior Vasquez produced the song with Lauper. He produced most of the rest of the album as well. Cyndi also wrote the song with Allee Willis.
Lauper re-recorded "Who Let In The Rain" for her Shine album which was released in Japan in 2004. The reason Lauper may have re-recorded the song was to reach more people with it's release.
