Who Am I This Time? is a short story written by Kurt Vonnegut, published in the Saturday Evening Post in 1961. The story was collected in Vonnegut's famous Welcome To The Monkey House.
The short story was also made in a short movie in 1982 and starring Christopher Walken and Susan Sarandon and directed by Jonathan Demme.
The short story centers on a character named Harry Nash who is an extremely shy and characterless small-town man. However, whenever he takes a part in the local, amateur theater production he becomes the character to an unbelievable extent. Soon, Helene Shaw, a new person in town falls in love with Nash - or she falls in love with the character he is playing in the play.
