To-do list for Who Killed The JAMs?: edit · history · watch · refresh
  • General beefing up:
    • Improved lead
    • More extensive music press review comments and speculation, from the Shag Times sleeve.
    • 'Themes' section needed.
    • 'Songs'/'Composition' section requires details. In particular, we need to determine whether "The Porpoise Song" is a wholesale melody theft (or cover version with new lyrics) like many of the other tracks are.
  • Then GA nomination
  • If the article needs further beefing, may want to revisit the 2 reviews (used here) printed on the Shag Times sleeve

[edit] Reviews

Did you get the newly added UK music press reviews straight out of the papers, or are they online somewhere? NME give a rating out of 10 don't they? I'm not too keen on editor summaries like "Favourable" unless they're backed up with some quotes, which the MM review is but the NME review isn't. --kingboyk 15:20, 8 April 2006 (UTC)

The NME review is Library of Mu (text not available online), and the MM report is one of the many articles on the inside of Shag Times LP. I'm hoping to verify them both and find out the NME score in a day or so using the local university library. --Vinoir 17:40, 8 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Songs

I think we could usefully expand this by having information and analysis on each song. --kingboyk 14:29, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

That's for sure. --Vinoir 10:55, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
I've started. Theres some comments for Disaster Fund Collection which is currently commented out as I'm not quite sure if and how I shall write it.--SavX 15:42, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
Excellent. Don't worry too much about making the prose perfect, we copyedit each others' work so either I or User:Vinoir will follow behind you (and we'll deal with the HTML comment if you don't). Thanks again. --kingboyk 08:32, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
