Whitney Lynn Hedgepeth (born March 19, 1971 in Colonial Heights, Virginia) is a former backstroke swimmer from the United States, who won two silver medals at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia: in the 100m and 200m Backstroke. A three-time NCAA Champion and 21-time All-American, she also competed at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. Hedgepeth retired after the Atlanta Games, an became a swimming coach.
