Whitmore Bay Surf Life Saving Club, or Whitmore Bay SLSC, is a surf lifesaving club in Wales, UK.
Whitmore Bay SLSC was established in 2003 and is based at Barry Island on the South coast of Wales.
The club is committed to providing a safe beach and aquatic environment for the local community, whilst developing life saving skills through education and training to its members.
The club's activities are managed and run by volunteers.

Whitmore Bay SLSC was founded in January 2003 following concerns that the busiest beach in the Vale of Glamorgan did not have a Surf Life Saving Club. Full Club History

Whitmore Bay SLSC competes in surf lifesaving competitions at regional and national levels.
[edit] Nippers
Whitmore Bay SLSC run a Nippers programme for children aged 7 to 12. Nippers start learning about surf awareness and beach safety, and will participate in board paddling, surfing, swimming, running, wading and other fun activities and games. Whitmore Bay Nippers also take part in beach carnivals and galas.
