Whitewater Shopping Centre

The Whitewater Shopping Centre opened in Newbridge, County Kildare in April 2006 to much fanfare. It is the biggest shopping centre in the country outside of Dublin.

The centre attracted over 20,000 visitors in its first week of opening. Although, the following few weeks saw a drop in sales. It is located in the centre of the growing town and attracts the population of Greater Leinster as well as that of other towns nearby, such as Naas, Kildare, Celbridge, Maynooth and Athy.
