White Dragon
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
White Dragon refers to the Anglo-Saxon race according to Romano-British legend. The legend relates to the vision experienced by High-King Vortigern on Dinas Emrys. Of the two dragons revealed to him by Merlin one was red and one white. The Red Dragon or Ddraig Goch which in legend represented the Romano-British race won the battle and is the background of the beast which features on the modern Welsh flag. White Dragon is occasionally used to refer to the English nation particularly in neo-pagan circles.
