[edit] Suggestions
There is some great history in this article. However, I want to suggest a few things.
- The "planning and development" section is very jargony and reads like something written by a person in city government. It doesn't say anything concrete or specific, just nebulous statements like "recommended updates to the subdivision regulations." I would completely eliminate this section.
- Watch out for point of view in statements like "...in order to educate residents about the community's rich history..."
- The historic reading section should be redone as a simple list of specific works with authors and titles. It would be better off at the bottom of the article under the heading "Further reading", following the pattern of other articles. (Additionally, if any of the works in the list were used as sources for the History section, they should be cited as references within the article.)
