WhenU [1] is an internet advertising company. Its software programs, called Save and SaveNow, deliver advertisements, comparison shopping results and other offers to users' computers to support the free download of many software applications. WhenU's software is typically not distributed directly to the consumer (unless you choose to download it from their official site), but bundled with the programs it supports, such as Daemon Tools, [2], and BSplayer. WhenU cannot get installed without full user consent and can be uninstalled by the user at any time.

WhenU's software is often labeled as adware. It may be considered unwanted because it serves pop-up advertisements. WhenU claims WhenU's software, once detected by most anti-spyware vendors, has now been delisted by Lavasoft's AdAware[3], Spybot's Search & Destroy [4] and PCTool's Spyware Doctor[5] who have concluded that WhenU's software respects user privacy[6] and can be easily uninstalled through the Add Remove Programs Section of your control panel.[7]
