What Jamie Saw is a novel by Carolyn Coman.
Having fled to a family friend's hillside trailer after his mother's boyfriend, Van, tried to throw his baby sister, Nin, against a wall, nine-year-old Jamie Beauville finds himself living an existence full of uncertainty and fear.
In 1996, the novel won a Newbery Honor and was among the finalists for the National Book Award.
