"What's My Age Again?" is one of blink-182's most famous hits. It was their breakthrough song in the United Kingdom, and reached the top forty in 1999. It reached the top twenty in the charts when it was re-released in 2000, following the release of "All the Small Things". The song is featured on the MCA Records release Enema of the State.
Tom DeLonge said of the title, "The song originally was called ‘Peter Pan Complex’ but the label didn’t want us to call it that because they thought people wouldn’t get it. It was one of those things that, later, we got pissed about because we felt we should have left it called that." [citation needed]
The song was played also in the series "Two Guys and a Girl" (second episode of season 3).
Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine covered this song on his 2000 debut album "Lounge Against the Machine".

[edit] Music video
The music video (released in 1999) was directed by Marcos Siega and involves the band running through the streets naked; they run through television shows, do some dances, and attract a lot of attention. The band members were naked throughout the video, except in the scene where they run past the little girl where they are, in fact, wearing flesh-colored Speedos. It was comically censored throughout the video, since it was see-through. (The Fox sitcom, That '70s Show uses the same technique in some scenes.) Porn star Janine Lindemulder is featured in the video.
[edit] Trivia
This song is also played live on the album The Mark, Tom, and Travis Show (The Enema Strikes Back!). Occasionally the Lyric "What's My Age Again" is replaced with "There is my Asian Friend", as the title of the song has been known to be mistaked with that. Before the song is played (on the previous track) Tom states:"This song is really hard to play, so I'd appreciate it if no one would listen to me for the next two and a half minutes". Though this was meant to be a joke, the song is played with perfect tone and timing, so there is speculation to whether or not the song is actually played live.
