Wharfe is a small hamlet just outside the village of Austwick, North Yorkshire, England.

There are 11 houses in the 'main' hamlet and 9 that are scattered farms nearby.

the eleven are; Sandford House, Garth Cottage, Low Farm, Wharfe House, Manor House, Wood View, Midge Hall, Beacon Light, (plus three others!)

The nine are; Wood End, Silloth House, Jop Ridding, White House, Far End House, Far End Lodge, Low Bark House, High Bark House & Newfield House. Fifty Years ago 7 of these were dairy farms but now only one is. Two others keep sheep but all the rest have stopped farming.

Wharfe is very popular with day-walkers as it is very pictureque, is set in the most beautiful countryside and has the nerby atractions of Norber Eratics and the many footpaths and bridleways that cris-cross it.
