WGOT-LP

WGOT-LP is a low power FM radio station scheduled to broadcast from Gainesville, Florida, United States. WGOT is operated by the Civic Media Center, a non-profit library in Gainesville.

WGOT will broadcast on 94.7 MHz, sharing this frequency with the radio stations of Faith Presbyterian Church, a member of the Presbyterian Church in America and Calvary Baptist Church, a member of the Southern Baptist Convention. The frequency was previously used by Free Radio Gainesville, a pirate radio station.

While not yet broadcasting (as of 21 December 2005), the construction permit for WGOT was granted in May 2005. The Civic Media Center first applied for a permit for a low-power FM station in 2001.
