[edit] Bomb Threat
On Friday, November 10, 2006, the school received a phone call. The person on the phone said that there is a bomb located somewhere in the school. All students and staff were immediately evacuated from the school. The students and staff stood outside for three hours. Afterwards, they were allowed back in gym where they spent one hour. The students were generously provided food by the school. During the time the students were outside, police and a few staff members search every locker in the school. In some cases, locks had to be broken in order to access the locker. Fortunately, no one was hurt and no bomb was found. The major loss due to this situation is time and locks. The school agreed to replace everyone's broken locks. In the end, everyone’s safety was maintained and no one was hurt.
