The Western Stone

The Western Stone is a recently excavated foundational level brick of the Western Wall in Israel that is thought to be the heaviest object ever lifted by human beings. The stone has a length of 13.6 meters, a width estimated between 3.5 to 4.5 meters; estimates place the weight at 570 tons. The Western Stone is heavier than any single stone which composes any of the Egyptian Pyramids.
